The parable of the sower

Taking our text from the Account of Apostle Matthew in Matt 13:1-9, 18-23.

The parable is about a sower(farmer)/(God) who went about to plant as he scattered the seeds (this represents the word of God), they fell on different paths (This paths represents individuals 💓)

Matt.13.4 – And as he sowed, some seeds fell by the roadside, and the birds came and ate them up.
Matt.13.19 – While anyone is hearing the Word of the kingdom and does not grasp and comprehend it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the roadside.

The first group of people came with a prepared 💓s. God responds to us when we call and if we aren’t prepared we won’t be able to apply the instructions/principles given by him immediately giving room for the devourer to steal it through procastination or forgetfulness.

Matt.13.5 – Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they had not much soil; and at once they sprang up, because they’ve had no depth of soil.
Matt.13.6 – But when the sun rose, they were scorched, and because they had no root, they dried up and withered away.

Matt.13.20 – As for what was sown on thin (rocky) soil, this is he who hears the Word and at once welcomes and accepts it with joy;
Matt.13.21 – Yet it has no real root in him, but is temporary (inconstant, lasts but a little while); and when affliction or trouble or persecution comes on account of the Word, at once he is caused to stumble [he is repelled and begins to distrust and desert Him Whom he ought to trust and obey] and he falls away.

The second group of people, receive the word with enthusiasm probably because they just heard the rhema 😆 for the first time or maybe they became charged by association (Their friends kept talking and living the Kingdom life) so current flowed in their direction.
At that moment the word had potential of thriving but because it didn’t have deep roots they didn’t understand and didn’t count the cost of applying the new principles they just heard, they easily changed their convictions when they’re faced trials realizing they didn’t bargain for the cross just the 👑.
The Crown comes with the Cross

Matt.13.7 – Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them out

Matt.13.22 – As for what was sown among thorns, this is he who hears the Word, but the cares of the world and the pleasure and delight and glamour and deceitfulness of riches choke and suffocate the Word, and it yields no fruit.

These group of people receive the word, they are indifferent and their outward stance shows they’re embracing the word but their inner man outrightly rebels against this word, choking and suffocating the word as it comes.
These people find it difficult to lay aside things that easily beset them…
They find themselves at a cross road not willing to posses a Conviction they could die for, they leave their walk with God to chance/fate.

Matt.13.8 – Other seeds fell on good soil, and yielded grain – some a hundred times as much as was sown, some sixty times as much, and some thirty.

Matt.13.23 – As for what was sown on good soil, this is he who hears the Word and grasps and comprehends it; he indeed bears fruit and yields in one case a hundred times as much as was sown, in another sixty times as much, and in another thirty.

The fourth group of people had prepared hearts hence the word was able to take root, because the the root ran deep their growth was distinct and they brought different quantity of fruits some 30% some 60% some 100%, the different measure depends on how much of these ingredients Preparedness, deep roots and conviction the individual applied in their growth.

Few Lessons From 2019

The year 2019 has been so far an amazing year for me and my family, in this year I have had tremendous growth on the spirit than any other year.

I’ve come to understand that my faith though small must have depth to create the impact God wants for my generation.

I’ve Come to understand that his ways are indeed not my ways and I must trust that he has my best interest at heart.

I’ve come to understand that we breakthrough via prayers and a consistent intimacy with our Creator. “Koinonia”

I’ve come to realize that God is never too late 😉.No matter how long you’ve waited, he’s always right on time for his own. Yeah the waiting period isn’t always sweet but putting up the right attitude while waiting is very important because Bro
James said patience when it’s done with us can make us perfect…Hahaha 😂I was in that school for awhile, boy is the curriculum fun? 😒 No It wasn’t and it isn’t but we’ve got to keep on to get a tangible result.

I’ve come to understand Words are cheap, Action sets the vehicle in motion… people really remember you for how you acted towards them, what you said to them, how you handled situations and not just by what you said to them…

I’ve come to understand that true friendship indeed exist 🤗🤗. Trust me, I does… Just keep praying and believing God, he’ll bring one your way but I just hope you’ll be open enough to let them in .

I’ve always known that God answers prayers but, in this year I’ve been the object of his love 😍😍and the answers were right on time.

I have a lot to say buh I’ll stop here for got to go back to bed, have a busy day tomorrow.

He loves you to the moon and beyond the earth.

As a young girl who loves her independence, but still living under her parent I expect and believe my parents should know what I want, when I want it and how much it should be. I failed to understand that yeah they’re my parents but they’ve got other thinks to think about and if I need anything I must ask before they know what I want.

“But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, then; you are of more value than many sparrows.” – Matt 10 : 30 -31.

Living on earth we definitely encounter issues that’ll sway us, making us wonder if God is really there for us, if he even exist at all. We look around us and ask the question WHY? But it seems like no one is out there listening.

The word of God is our reassuring hope, which reminds of the heavenly father that Care’s for us and knows our needs no matter how personal it is. Unlike our earthly parents and relation. He knows when we need them and what time our needs and want would be useful to us. He cares for us that’s why he shows it in all the plan he’s got for us.

How beautiful they look! 🙂

You ask me, how do you know he cares? I know cause if I had an only child and I loved that child so so much I wouldn’t kill him for anyone’s sake no matter how special. God did otherwise, he sent his only “Begotten” Son Jesus Christ cause you are special to him. This son came and was  beaten and wounded  by us humans. Meanwhile his coming was to save us, we pierced him, spat on him, tore his precious cloth ( I wonder how much his garment worth for them to share it among themselves – just thinking ) eh eh we made a mess of one’s only son whom he loved. How terrible!!!

Yet still he loved us more. He’s ready to give us all we ask and all we want but we refuse to acknowledge him, we keep nailing his son back at the cross, spitting on him, and denying his power by our actions, our words, our thoughts etc. And he’s pleading silently and fervently come to me and I’ll take those worries and fear away.

Don’t ignore that voice come to Jesus and be saved. All will be well.

I’m me when I write.

I write because I can’t keep it all in.”

I wake up everyday with a desire and  hope to achieve my purpose before the sun goes down, despite the routine activities, I strive to meet up to the challenge. Life is full of surprises and yes they don’t fail to pop up when we’re not expecting them too.

After a long day I remember the activities of the day, replaying it over and over again i realise I must share it with someone, someone is out there who needs to be encouraged, who needs to know that they’re not the only one going through that alone,  someone that needs cheering up, someone giving up, someone giving in.

I try to just scribble something down for the sake of writing but immediately my pen touches my diary I can’t keep it all in, I write till my heart’s well is satisfied with the content   it has poured out.

Writing sets my emotions free.

When I’m writing I’m no other but me, I surprise my self when I go back to read what I’ve written and it’s like some other person else where wrote it all down.

What do I do when I’m not writing? Wow that’s a big one, when I came across this daily prompt  a lot of things came running through my mind but few stuck around. When I’m home with my family I do a lot of chores and run errands for my parents and some personal things for myself. My life would be boring if it just follows that routine, I try to make it productive by adding value to other peoples life cause it gives me Joy. I love traveling and visiting friends. Apart from building my personal relationship with God daily by reading his word and communing with him,  I love to read. I read a lot, mostly novels. I could spend hours trying to finish a book, it doesn’t matter where I find myself, I just don’t care so much what people may say, I mean when they find me in a very funny or awkward place. I could be in a noisy surrounding but I beerly notice cause I’m nose deep in the book. I read different genres,

I remember the time I went shopping ( Novel shopping ) Cause I needed to keep myself occupied, I picked some books without reading the bulb cause they were relatively cheap, I loved the volume and the scent.(Imagine that!!!!). It was not until I got home and after awhile decided to go through them and realized they were mostly talking about ghosts, Strange ( extraordinary ) miracles and were mostly true stories. Then I wondered, wow what where you  thinking? , I enjoyed them though.

Secondly another thing that get the best of my time is my thoughts… I am a deep thinker with vast imaginations sometimes I wonder if that’s odd.

It’s a text, text, text, text, world. I hear a lot of people say the world is a global village and yes it’s true. We communicate to people several miles away with just a message on  social media platforms or any other conventional method.
For one I love it but it has it negative and positive side. For me as  a person I love texting but I don’t  let it get the better part of me, i. e  I don’t get too caught up in it , such that I forget the real world .
I remember sometimes I have

communicated with several persons and they sometimes fail to decipher  or misunderstand and hence fail to get the message. For instance recently I was chatting with a friend  and I typed Ji  ( I wanted to type Hi) but I had already sent the message before I realized my mistake,  I  later typed Hi as a correction. Fortunately let me not say unfortunately he’s name begins with  J. He replied Ri (my name begins with  R)  and then the next message was Hi and I  wondered within me- He must have thought I wanted to shorten his name or something I can’t quite figure out what this something  is but clearly he hadn’t realized it was a typographical error. So he went with the flow.
Another issue is emotions; while texting emotions are not clearly expressed or rather put not sincerely expressed for some individuals.  Yeah someone would say, what about the emoji’ ?  The emoji are always available but some use this medium ( emoji ) to miscommunicate information, lying about what they truly intend to express. I try my possible best to be honest and sincere when using online platforms and try to be open and honest. Technology is here to stay, the best we can do to make the world better is to be sincere when making use of this platforms.
On the positive side it helps convey messages fast .

it’s a Text, Text, Text, Text World

Just one more

Back in school from my first year in the university i believed that doing my best would earn me a spot at the top of the class and amidst my colleagues at large. I started studying hard, I became diligent and disciplined and I  excelled. As time and months passed by I got engaged in a lot of activities, this activities were not bad but academically I began to lose focus, gradually I lost my place. Thanks be to God and my ever challenging friends and colleagues I picked up and tried to earn back my spot but the disciplined character I lost at a fast rate was not easy to regain back immediately.

I was no longer excelling as I use too, most times I’ll tell myself one more step, more hard work and you’ll be there while my program was coming to completion, I realized that the effort I’m putting in now would have been best done earlier. Twill have better. Let your best effort be now else you’ll be late and disappointed by the outcome.

Things I like

1. I like Jesus Christ.( He is my hope and my reason to live, he gave me love when no one else would).
2. I like the smell of a new novel. (I could buy a novel just to perceive that nice fragrance).
3.   I like watching movies on my laptop alone. (I prefer not to be interrupted by any questions).
4.   I  like buying new books even if I don’t read most of them. (funny)
5.   I like babies with fat checks. (They make me smile a lot)
6.   I like confident people.
7.   I like listening to music. (It keeps me calm, cool, collected and inspired).
8.   I like taking pictures. ( They remind me of my past and help me look to a better future).
9.   I like  watching people play instruments.  (Mostly the violin, I’m intrigued by their beautiful skills and ability to move the hands on the strings swiftly).
10.  I like Beautiful diaries. ( They help me unleash the real deal in me). They’re awesome cause when you go back to read what you wrote in it, you wonder where the words came from then twill dawn on you that you’re  actually the real deal.
